Simon Fraser University celebrated the grand opening of First Peoples’ Gathering House today at its Burnaby campus with traditional ceremony and cultural performances from the host First Nations: xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem).
