posted on Sep 30, 2021

The University of New Brunswick has officially opened the new Barry and Flora Beckett Residence on the Saint John campus. The residence will be able to accommodate 100 individuals with a new style of room known as adjoining singles, which previously didn’t exist on the campus. It includes a large multi-purpose lounge, a study lounge with independent corrals, two laundry rooms, and uses geo-thermal technology which allows students and guests to control their bedroom’s temperature.

This new residence will also be available May through August as UNB’s accommodations become available to the general public through their Summer Hotel. The adjoining singles will offer two separate bedrooms each with a double bed, desk, dresser, closet and semi-private washroom, shared only with adjoining suite. Options will be available to secure private washroom (upon request). To book, please email reservations@unb.ca.
